Campaign Priorities
Fighting for the issues that matter most to District 26 families
Affordability & Cost Relief
Rising costs continue to strain working families and seniors. I will pursue legislative efforts to reduce utility rate burdens, evaluate and lower excessive state service fees such as vehicle registrations, and support property tax policies that protect homeowners from unsustainable increases. Government must operate efficiently and responsibly to ease financial pressure on residents.
Economic Development & Workforce Growth
Economic growth must directly benefit District 26 residents. I support targeted development initiatives that create quality, long-term jobs. This includes promoting local hiring standards, strengthening public-private partnerships, expanding small business opportunities, and investing in infrastructure that attracts responsible employers to our district.
Education, Youth Intervention & Public Safety
Public safety begins with prevention and opportunity. I will advocate for increased funding for education and youth-focused safety programs that reduce crime by addressing root causes. Expanding access to trade certification programs, apprenticeships, and workforce training will give young people practical career pathways. For those pursuing higher education, we must support policies that reduce student debt and expand affordable college options.
Comprehensive Mental Health Access
Communities thrive when mental health resources are accessible and affordable. I support expanding community-based mental health services, strengthening school counseling programs, and improving early intervention systems. Special attention must be given to youth and young adults navigating academic, economic, and social pressures. Increased coordination between healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations will be key to delivering effective support.
